A savory Cabernet Franc with lovely spice and fruit components. Harvested in October of 2017, these grapes from Firethorn Vineyard in Echo, Oregon were fermented in an oak fermenter and aged in French oak barrels. On the pallet, you may find notes of rose petals, dates, molasses, ripasso, nocino and cinnamon stick. With aromas of cassis, cigar box, celery, and fresh bay leaf our 2017 Cabernet Franc would be a lovely companion to Coppacola, apple fennel chutney, aged gouda, rack of lam, or grilled Moroccan swordfish.
