Our popular suss reserve experiment in 2019 returns for further refinement! This one-of-a-kind off-dry wine combines Roussanne grapes from Bosma Vineyards in the Rattlesnake Hills fermented not quite to dryness with two versions of Riesling from Bacchus Vineyards in the Columbia Valley: half fermented to dryness in new oak barrels and the other half kept as pure juice to add the bulk of sweetness to the final wine.
Aromas of fresh Perry pears, lemon balm, kumquat, fines herbes and persimmon. Find palate coating, rounded flavors of baked apple, fresh pineapple and a spritz of lemon zest. The wine finishes off-dry but with a jaunty acidity. Enjoy lingering flavors of ripe apricot, Bartlett pear and starfruit.
